About the Course
Fortran is the most widely used scientific programming language. It is used in many disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Attendees are required to have a basic knowledge of UNIX commands. If you are not familiar with UNIX, there is an online Introduction to UNIX Commands course that must be completed before attending. This runs in a browser and requires a flash installation.
This is a 1 day course with lectures and practical sessions.

- Control structures
- Dynamic memory allocation
- Array processing
- Functions, subroutines and modules
- IO features
- Intrinsic procedures
